I'll give 3 stars because the employees are always very nice, I've never had a problem with the food but for one big complaint. Why is the salsa so watery? It was like tomato water with cilantro and onion. Not good.
The Margarita was truly excellent--both stars are for the Margarita because the rest of the experience was truly horrible. We went late, and 45 minutes before the restaurant closes, the staff started cleaning with what must have been straight Pine Sol which totally killed the entire dining experience--how can you enjoy the food when all you can smell is Pine Sol? It was like eating in a public restroom--and they could have used some of that cleaning in there for sure--YUK!! The service was totally indifferent, and they shrugged when we complained about the Pine Sol that was so strong it was making our eyes water. I could understand them doing this if it was after closing time, but they ruined our dinner because they wanted to leave early.
Great food, EXTREMELY kid friendly, the wait staff adores my 5 year old. Best Chille Rellenos in town- by far!

Mi Hogar is a reasonably priced Mexican restaurant. Their food is very good, and I believe they have the best salsa dip. Their service is fast, so it is a great place to go during your lunch hour.
