This bar is deservedly receiving poor reviews for all the reasons stated. There never seems to be anyone in charge. Last time I went there as usual it was sparsely crowded and the music was on full blast. I sat at a table and waited for 15 min. for a waitress but all ignored me as though it wasnt worth their time to serve a solo customer. Finally, I left. This place is centrally located in an area w/ few bars so properly run it should be doing well. I used to do lunch when it was on Cedar Rd. The place was better run, food was good and reasonable.
I was very displeased with the service. I was charged $7.25 for 3 glasses of Pesi, without anyone telling me there were no free refills. I will never go back. Poor service and they will get you for everything they can. There are new and better places close by that offer more.
I love this place! It's a great little hang out, never crowded but just busy enough to keep it interesting...Food was great and the have a new waitress name Tabby she is great.
I am the friend that went to Maxwells for lunch with D Green. I will never, and I mean never go there again. The service was horrible, I could not believe how they treated us, it was shameful and embarrassing. Word of mouth is the worst advertisement, and you can believe I will be advertising the horrible service I received... I will warn everybody not to patronize this wanna be hooters....
