Only been here twice, and it's been a couple of months since the last visit. I do remember that the sushi was excellent, but don't forget that Japanese food consists of more than sushi. Try the Udon noodle dishes (my favorite). Small quiet place with nice atmosphere and good service. Highly recommended.
Master Choo always serves up the best sushi! It is ALWAYS fresh and ALWAYS perfect. I have never had a bad experience there. The sushi buffet is on Saturdays and it is very good also. The waitresses are always so sweet and attentive. Visit Master Choo!!

Stopped by to find that it wasnt a renovation, but in fact an ownership change. Lots of menu favorites gone. I was served squid that was IMPOSSIBLE to chew or pull apart or even cut!

We've been going to Matsu sushi since 2000 and we haven't found a sushi restaurant we like better. We've tried sushi all over the Hampton Roads and Richmond area and nothing compares. The fish is always fresh and there are lots of different rolls to choose from. My favorite is the hurricane roll! Very friendly staff with a family feel....
