There I was stuck in Friday afternoon I95 traffic with a very stiff back and stressing out from my work week. I needed a break and relieve for my aching back. I googled for a massage therapist in the Dale City area and came upon Janice. Upon arrival she led me to her therapy room and questioned me about where my pain and discomfort were located. She began administering deep tissue massage to my back. After only a couple of minutes I felt my upper back muscles pop and begin to relax. Simply amazing! She finished the hour long session and offered me several helpful suggestions to help keep my back loose and relaxed. I will definitely return anytime I have the least bit of discomfort. Thank you Janice!!!
How could it be any better? I've visited with Janice twice, and can't imagine how I could have gotten more out of the experience. I think I've become a "special project" for this gifted professional, who told me I had the most knotted shoulder muscles she'd ever seen. Undaunted, she's gone all-out to help me, even arranging for a myofascial release to loosen up my shoulders, then taking over with her firm but relaxing hands. As she told me, it's taken me years to get so knotted up - but I'm happy with the progress she's made and look forward to continuing to work with her. She has taken the time to talk to me about my issues, rather than applying the "one-size-fits-all" approach a lesser therapist would use. She goes after the problem with a determination I've never seen before. She does NOT give up! The scalp massage and attention to my feet have been an an unexpected bonus. Add to the equation the fact that she's a marvelous conversationalist, and it makes for sessions that pass too quickly but leave me feeling much better. Thanks, Janice - I'll be back!!
