We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We have the main cafeteria line, the To-Go area, and the Upstairs Buffet on Sundays. We also offer an additional variety of foods for catering off site.

The decor is circa 1960s. The fried chicken was not hot. The mashed potatoes were good and the salad portion was generous. The prices are very, very low....

Prompted by a few comments we found on a website we decided to give Mary's a shot before our trip back home to NC. Apparently our decision was a good one. The packed parking lot made it obvious immediately that this eatery was quite popular and its dated building made it obvious that Mary's was not just another me-too, franchise...

This place has been here forever and it's one of my favorite places to eat. You are probably not going to get the greatest meal of your life here but you will always get a very good meal at a great price.

Never liked the food here, the vegetables taste like they warmed up from a can. I would not recommend eating here.

Mary's Diner was established in 1951 by Mary Williams. She had one full time employee, her sister Elsie, and one part time employee. She cooked and served in one room. This building was about 30 by 36 feet ( very small ) and only seated about 25 people.
