I visited this quaint restaurant while traveling on business and fell in
love. Let's start with the food... true Southern delicacies from the piping
hot mac and cheese to the yummy candied yams. We had a table full of

We stopped by on a Sun afternoon not realizing they did a buffet on Sundays, so we decided to go ahead ad give it a try. Very small buffet, good service, but low food turnover, lower quality, all would have been OK if it were cheap. But it wasn't. And the cobbler was just awful. We won't be back.

I visited Mary Helen's on last Friday night. I didn't know what to expect. But I was really surprised the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. Mary Helen's closed for a brief period, but the community showed them just how much they'd be missed, so they reopened.
