I don't know how well-known the religious aspect of Ukrop's is, but personally I can do without the additional "Have a Blessed Day" wish at the end of the checkout. It seems there's no escaping the right here in Virginia. I'll go to Kroger.

The intersection near Ukrops now does have a stoplight. It makes entering and exiting much easier. The store is very nice--clean, well organized, etc. I do wish they would bring back the 50% thrift instead of 33%, but I'm glad for anything.

I can't believe that the Ukrops brothers have not pushed for a traffic light (or two) on Bell Creek Dr. People have been taking their lives in their hands trying to make a left anywhere on that road. It not that I put all the respondsability on Ukrops it's just that they seem to be so civic minded most of the time. I wish they would exert pressure on our supervisors. We been waiting for...

Best grocier in the state, maybe the country... Carry out bag service is what makes this place better than the rest... The people are polite, caring, and very helpful. Dont bother looking just tell them what you need and they will bring it to you. All in all this is a wonderful grocery store and i recommend that everyone who visits richmond to shop here.
