I stayed at this Marriott for a one-night business trip (as I do a couple times a year). The friendliness of the staff was really striking this time! The hotel manager (or a tall guy in a sportcoat who seemed like the hotel manager) was highly visible.

Needs a major overhaul

The staff is nice and friendly, and aspects of the hotel has been renovated, such as the beds, carpets, and lights and an acceptable fitness room. But this hotels major problem is paper thin walls. You can hear the tv in the next room; you can hear people cough in the next room. It's really a problem.

We traveled to greensboro for a first lego league robotics competition at nc a&t. The proximity to the university was great. The hotel was lovely, clean & comfortable. My company booked this hotel for me and 3 of my coworkers on a business trip. It is a lovely hotel and was easy to get to and in a convenient location.

Located in the Greensboro Marriott Downtown, Bistro 40 serves American cuisine every breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you're traveling through the city and in need of a convenient place to dine, all you really have to do is walk in from the lobby.
