I LOVE Ethiopian food and most things Ethiopian - I have even visited Ethiopia with my teenage daughter to see their wonderful heritage first hand. Glad to find Ethiopian food close to home without having to go to DC or Annandale ! The owners are two well educated sisters ( one is an Urban planner who couldn't return to Ethiopia...

I get the veggie platter every time. The flavors are great. The bread is moist and tasty. The quantity is more than enough. The presentation and decor are simple. The service is friendly, and engaging if you're so inclined. I take family and friends here.

Ethiopian; Spanish, too

While this is advertised as an Ethiopian fare, one entire section of the memo consists of Spanish dishes. I recommend the Combo or the Tibbs, and the French macaroons, and filo, and the cardamon tea. The shop is on the corner and easy to overlook, but the food is incredibly tasteful and the service is a friendly as it gets....

A bit on the plain side and a simple fair. Some typical Ethiopian baked stuff and coffee based drinks. I went for hot chocolate. It was perfectly made.
