Right at Home

...that's how we felt during our stay at Ma Margaret's! Of course we were the only people staying that evening, so we got very special attention from Pam, who takes care of Miss Alva's beautifully-restored home!
Our accommodations were very comfortable and the breakfast was truly one of the best we've ever had at a B & B! Those honey...

Great experience

Recently stayed at Ma Margaret's for a ministers retreat. The service was excellent, staff was wonderful! I love how each room had its own theme. I will definitely be returning and have recommended to several friends already. Loved seeing the history behind the house also!

We decided to stay here to attend my 40th Northumberland High School class reunion celebration in Kilmarnock. Although there are hotels and B&B's in Kilmarnock, Ma Margaret's offered more space and a better value than renting 2 hotel rooms and buying breakfast off site. My husband and I just spent 3 nights at Ma Margaret's House. We had the Sydnor Room, which is probably the smallest room in the house. This was our request, we didn't feel the need for a suite.
