You can't miss this place—a seven-story baseball bat leans against the building housing the museum and bat factory. (An appropriately sized baseball is imbedded in one window of the plate glass factory next door, too.) Step up to the plate at the very scary virtual pitching diamond. Autographed bats of virtually every baseball great are also on display.

The story of the great American pastime told through the history of the world-famous bat; a must-see for baseball fans.

Overview
From the six-story steel bat visibile from miles away to the recorded memories of great moments in baseball, the Louisville Slugger Museum is a true testament to our love of...

We've been to Louisville many times and never gone to this museum. With three boys who love baseball, we decided to give it a shot. It went way above our expectations! It's really cool seeing how they make the bat. If you've never done it before you should totally go!

This is a great museum for adults and kids. We specifically went to get my son an engraved bat but was surprised at how interesting the rest of it was.

Visited Louisville in February. I spent most of the day Sunday at the Slugger
Museum cause it's that awesome. It's great to see where the first baseball bats were and still are made. Tour of where bats were made was amazing so much history plus the complementary mini bat you get at the end of your tour. A must see...

Title pretty much sums it up. If you're in the area it's worth the visit. Factory tour has a small fee but you get a souvenir bat at the end that mostly off-sets the cost.

Pirates bats being made as we were there

The larger than life Louisville Slugger bat outside was really cool. I recommend taking the tour of the mfg. facility. We were there when All Star Pirate Josh Harrison's bats were being made. As a Pittsburgher, this was a great thing to witness.
