I went to Avista Hospital for diagnostic mammography. Dr Gutierrez had scan after scan performed, and did ultrasound, and although she admitted that no abnormalities were found, she insisted that I needed to come back in six months for another diagnostic mammogram. Her "bedside manner" was brusk and condescending.

Had a horrible biopsy experience. Not only was the doctor late for my biopsy, but she wasn't confident about what she was doing. The rest of the staff was fantastic, but I would specifically request another physician.
Dr. Johanos is very nice and not afraid to call in a specialist in emergency situations. He isn't afraid to ask for outside opinions and that is a trait of a very good doctor! He also did not hesitate to have my pain well-controlled. Overall, a very sweet, caring, and intelligent doctor. I hope everyone is under his care during an emergency!
