The office staff is quite unprofessional and needs more training. Vanessa, the office manager was highly inappropriate regarding a death in our family. When I told her she was inappropriate and was not working at Walmart but a doctor's office where she could follow the rules but still have compassion, she sent me a letter stating to find medical services elsewhere. Now, they continue to mock sarcastically and hang up the phone when I request to get my doctor, Dr. Elizabeth Bakhski, to give me a call back, as I am convinced that the office staff is purposely creating this situation of harassment, and doubt the doctor is aware of what transpired. I am being denied access to my family doctor of over 20 years. IF I hear back from the doctor, then I may update this review. In the meantime, beware AND ALL STEER AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The experience of unprofessional office staff is not worth the risk and disadvantage to your medical care. I have been dealing with this unprofessional staff for some time now, but this last episode takes the cake. I will let everyone know on EVERY forum the experience I had, so they can decide for themselves whether this fiasco - or quality care, elsewhere, instead. It's a shame as poor office staff makes the doctors look unprofessional, too. If they keep up this ridiculousness, someone is going to suffer medically due to their lack of care, and that could come back on them legally. Not good! If I were the doctors, I would want to know this - so now they can read for themselves on Google. That way, the office cannot skew the message. So, Dr. Bakshski, when you see this review, I would love to talk to you. Please give me a call! Thank you much. In the meantime, reporting this place to the Department of Health and the insurance company. Their poor Google reviews and ranking show a consistent pattern of unprofessionalism. What a shame!
The business manager at Lifeway Family Physicians is a crook.
When I arrived for my annual checkup, I gave the receptionist my insurance card, and she entered the information into her computer. She said everything was OK with it. But then a few days later, the business manager called to tell me they no longer accepted my insurance (they had dropped the health plan earlier in the year without telling me). She said I had to pay the bill in full or else she would report it to credit agencies and submit it to collection.
I had been a patient at Lifeway for almost 10 years at this point, but I quickly changed doctors to a different practice. No one should be treated this way and have to listen to such rude, sarcastic language on the phone for something that isn't your fault.
I went to Elizabeth Bakhshi twice. First visit went ok. Second visit was a horrible experience! I found she was rude, horrible "bedside" manners, lack of caring for the situation of why I was there! I have never been treated like that from a doctor! It seemed she constantly had to leave the room to consult with another doctor instead of making a decision for herself. Seemed like there was always a reason for me to come back for a office business every 2 to 3 weeks which was costly! Had to sign something saying can only go to one pharmacy. I asked if they didn't have my medicine can I go somewhere else. Response was no you have to wait. Even if blood pressure pills! Not a caring practice at all!!! Would NEVER recommend this doctor or the practice.
After 5 years, the staff has finally made it so I will change doctors. They leave personal information including test results on office answering machines. They misfile your insurance, the make it impossible to get a doctor appointment and give an attitude when your schedule does not fit in with there's. The doctors may care about their patients but the staff is rude and doesn't respect your privacy.
The most thorough doctor I've ever found. she is high on wellness as well as quick to respond to illnesses. Would highly recommend her to anyone and have.

The Doctor I see here is great; she switched to this location from the previous place and I followed her. The nurses are great. Unfortunately, the admin and billing staff have made visits very difficult. This has happened repeatedly through the years. I will now be looking for another Doctor at a different location due to the admin staff.
They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my friends or family. Their staff was not friendly in the least; I really didn't feel welcome there.They are only concerned about getting paid.
