We planned to do the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island in the morning and spend just a couple hours at Liberty Science Center in the afternoon. Worth the trip if you are living in the city or just visiting with bright curious kids.The set up invites participation and no one will ever guess that it's a science lesson!

Family of 2 adults and a 6 year old. Expensive way to entertain your child at this age. $66 for the most basic admission +$7 for parking. This is one of the most expensive children museums I've ever been to. Seriously, even for the Metropolitan you pay a suggested price, or one can pay anything they can. I didn't find...

My family has visited LSC since it first opened, and we try to go at least once a year. Some of the exhibits are permanent and we've seen them many times, but there is always something new to learn, especially as the kids get older and they learn about different topics at school.
