Several weeks back I had entered a request through Le Star's website for an appointment and heard nothing back. So I finally called them a week before my anticipated appointment and set up a time to meet. When my girls and I arrived, we were told that my appointment was set for an hour earlier (even though we were still early to the original appointment time) and told we could only look at the merchandise, but not try anything on. The lady would not even listen to me stating that I had made an appointment at 3 and not 2 and basically called me a liar!
She had absolutely no one in her store or parking lot, but still refused service. I had driven 4 1/2 hours to do this event as well as some of my girls came down from Richmond (2 hours for them). As a bride, I feel like you should at least be able to hear someone out even if there was some sort of misunderstanding on time (English isn't her first language), but there wasn't even the opportunity to discuss this in an adult manner. Her mind was made up that she wasn't going to help us. She could have made over $1000 on a sale, but that is her loss. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH RUDE PEOPLE LIKE THIS! This is supposed to be a special time for us brides!!!

Horrible. Had an appointment and was refused service even though we showed up early for an appointment even after confirming the time. A terrible experience for a bride to be after having bridesmaids travel hours just to try on these dresses. Bad attitude for someone in the business of weddings.
Way over priced. Simple measurements that take 30 seconds cost $15!! After re-measuring myself at home, I realized all of their measurements were incorrect!! I should have saved my $15 and measured myself for free. Extremely disappointed.
I wouldn't recommend going to Le Star. I went there looking for a prom dress and found one that I liked. But the lady who helped me said it was a store ""sample"" and she would have to order my dress. She charged me a ""restocking fee"" and shipping. Then on the receipt, it said there were no guarantees that the dress would come in by the date promised, that the dress would fit, or even that the dress was in good condition- basically, Le Star wasn't responsible for my purchase. They really didn't care if I left a satisfied customer! I regret not backing out of the purchase then and...
I took my 16 yr old daughter looking for a dress for her ring dance. We were the only people in the entire shop. The lady was at the front counter and was burning incense! I couldn't believe it! I thought it was very unusual to be burning incense in a FORMAL WEAR shop! Hello? Do you not realize that Your stinky incense will stink up the dresses? Does your boss know you are doing this? I was absolutely taken aback by this unprofessional behavior. Do not shop here and get a smoked up dress! Weird!
