I first contacted Chris with Lawncare of Hampton Roads out of frustration. I had a rental property that was vacated and destroyed and I was left with an unmanageable mess. I told Chris I had no idea what I wanted but I needed help and guidance to get the property ready to be rented . He took over. In a matter of days all the large debris (picnic tables, trash, furniture etc) had been hauled away, flower beds were created, trees were planted and for the first time in years I could not only see a yard but he gave me a livable outdoor space. He not only transformed the yard but also pressure-washed the house and driveway. He truly came through and delivered a property I was proud to show off.
Chris and his team did such a great job on my rental property that I immediately retained his landscape design and lawn maintenance services for my residence. Since then he has redesigned my entire yard, installed sod and provided irrigation repair. He installed much needed shrubbery and trees specific to my homes design while taking into consideration environmental factors to ensure the longevity and perennial beauty he created. He and his team provide weekly lawn maintenance including tree trimming, mulch and weed control. They provide seeding and customized fertilization and herbicide application. They NEVER leave a mess and ALWAYS take the trash with them.
Lawncare of Hampton Roads is prompt, consistent and incredibly affordable. I couldn't be happier or more grateful.

Missed an appointment with a potential new customer. Called after the scheduled appointment time to say he was stuck in Sandbridge. Obviously, he knew he was not going to make the appointment well...
UPDATE - I am updating this post myself too to reflect what LCHR posted below. It was deemed that True Green (I have no problem dropping the name) is responsible for the damage to the lawn and yes the lawn was "luscious" last summer (neighbor's words not mine :-) ) Anyway LCHR did acknowledge that this could have been resolved back in May and that they are working hard to improve customer...
Pity that they don't communicate with the house owner. They just walk away and disappear leaving a job half done. Even after 3 phone calls to them I am no wiser on where they have gone or when they will finish the job.
A very undependable business. They consistently either missed applications, or applied them late, reducing the benefit of their service. Communication from the owner was very slow, and he often made assertions that they had performed services when they had not. When they did come out to apply …
