Lapetitie France

This fine Richmond restaurant is no more. It has been closed long enough that it may never reopen (the grandfather clauses for health, ABC, building, etc have expired). I suspect that the building will be torn down to make way for a new office park.

It's sad but true that La Petite France has closed. It just could not survive new owners. The original owners were half the experience of going there.

Under new management, the menu has both traditional and fresh, new options with seasonal changes. All of the soups are home made and have wonderful flavor. A comfortably plush restaurant which has a hint of French formality that serves rich, classic French prepared using fresh seafood, fowl, and meats. They are open Tuesday through Friday for lunch and dinner and open on Saturday for dinner only.
