Pros:

You're allowed to have one pet (breed and weight restrictions).

Location has good access to beach and Highway.
Property manager is extremely friendly.
Apartment size is not bad for the money.
Our apartment had new carpet, and an updated kitchen.

Cons:

United property is in your apartment at least once every other month if not more. They come in quarterly for pest-control quarterly...

I find it amusing that angry people leave such awful messages and reviews on this site. I have lived here for 5 years and I have never had an issue. Sure they have been through a few managers but that new girl Angela sure knows her stuff and has made wonderful progress since she took over for the last manager. Lakewood is a wonderful community.
