Ran into one of the owners of this place a few weeks ago. Said that it was going to be reopening soon! I hope so, as it is (was) delicious. I'll do an update as soon as I check it out.

This place has been closed for a long time, which is unfortunate because it used to rock. Hopefully we'll get a new kabob place.

I love the food- really good tasting, great bread, and kabobs (how'd they get their name? ;-)

My only complaint is that the menu doesn't vary- same thing every time. So, I don't eat there as often as I would. Then again, if something works, why change it.

Recommend the kubideh- two ground beef skewers, two sides, rice and break for $7.

The Bread & Kabob consistently delivers fabulous food and excellent service. The kabobs rock, but everyone in the office drops by to see what smells so incredible when I pick up chicken curry to go. The eggplant, spinach, and okra all rock.

We love this place. My husband and I will drive from Garner to satisfy our craving for their Afgan food. The best to me is the Chicken Curry... but it's not like Indian curry. It's mild yet tasty. The food is very reasonably priced - for less than $7 you can get two vegetables, basmati rice, flatbread and their delicious chicken curry. We usually can't finish our plates. Luckily this stuff...
