My old landlord, Knitting Mill Commons, has still yet to pay me my security deposit. This does not only upset me, but they have been breaking the law for the past 16 days (my lease ended on July 31st). This is clearly stated under VA state law § 55-248.15:1. Security deposits, in which a landlord is giving a 40 day period after the termination of lease to either return your security deposit, or give you a written itemized list of deductions. They are clearly understaffed with 3 people running a whole apartment complex as well as the large storage operation, Space Cadets Self Storage. I have a large list of complaints, but I think the shotgun blast that came from our neighbors apartment that is pictured above is enough for this website.
I will happily take down this review once my full security deposit is returned
