A Bright New Day for Deep Ellum

Average Rating
80

Whether you're just dropping in to grab a quick bite before work, or sitting down for a huge ""home cooked"" mid-day meal, the folks at Kim's Kafe make you feel like your right at home. Each plate's served with a familiar slice of Texas flavor... and followed with a bright smile from Kim herself, who smartly reigns over the place with a big sense of humor and an even bigger heart.

*Go in on Mondays for a big serving of Mama's meatloaf and a few laughs....

Best lunch in dallas

kims has got the lunch market cornered in deep ellum, catering to a wide variety of patrons from blue collar to corporate work forces. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is in a league of its own. i highly suggest the chicken fried chicken but even if your in the mood for a light salad the waitresses personality and hospitality will make you feel right at home. Wow All I can say is wow this place was not what I expected at all the food was great the service was fast and to the point better than that the portions were huge. Eating and shopping in Deep Elum has been a pain in the past and this place has exceeded my expectations its a must for this good ol home cooking lover

Pros

+ Good old home cooking and fast service

Pros

+ nothing good to say about this place and all of it;s gossip
