Restaurant

You haven't fully experienced The Outer Banks until you've been to the Kill Devil Grill. Fronted by a 1939 Kullman dining car, the KDG has one of only 6 diners in the national registry of historic buildings. Our unique restaurant features table-top juke boxes, (non-functional) providing an opportunity to explain to your kids what a record is. An historic edifice is not the only attraction here,...

The Kill Devil Grill is housed in an authentic, historically recognized diner, giving patrons the option of settling in at the counter or heading back to a booth-lined addition that flanks an open kitchen. Cool little diner in Kill Devil Hills that seemed small when you saw it but when we walked in there was a surprising amount of space in the back. Great staff and great food! Everyone around us seemed to really enjoy their experience.

We had a great dinner. Wonderful food and great waitress. Great crab cakes, one of the best chilis I’ve had, excellent rock fish (white rice was not tasty) and spaghetti with shrimp was good.

as all reviews state...the wait is a bit of time, because it's such a small little joint, it's worth it.
The music is a little bit of everything, which is delightful
The food was superb, short and sweet menu
Also the service was impeccable .....
