My wife and I booked this hotel because she found it on a list of "the most romantic getaways in the Adirondacks". The view and location are hands down spectacular. As for the rooms, not worth the amount you pay. The lodge room was smelly and alittle outdated. When you pay so much to stay there and then pay more for a resort fee, you would expect to have your room cleaned and receive new toiletries and towels each night. We didn't...

I always enjoy staying at the Sagamore. The lodges are beautiful. It is like a home away from home. The rooms are always clean and nice. I love the fireplace in the sitting area. It really is just an absolutely beautiful place to stay.

The most beautiful hotel I've ever been to. Everywhere you look on Lake George is like looking at a postcard. We've been there twice and brought along our 4 children to enjoy the heated pool and boat rides.

It was a great place to visit the staff was nice the food was awesome and it's a beautiful place with lots to see in the surrounding areasThe waterfront was wonderful I didn't know how to use my iPad and they had staff there to help me with it that was a wonderful thing they went outside of their job...
