We found Kelsick the last day we were in Gloucester visiting my brother. They have a lot of unusual food items as well as frozen prepared meals.

Like many of the "main street" local businesses, this place aims for small town trendy while completely missing product, cost and customer service. Craft beer selection could be decent, but their stock doesn't keep pace with demand, and they gouge on prices. Stick to Total Wine or Farm Fresh. (Even Wal-Mart sells Lagunitas.) An outdoor dining/tasting section might be nice,...

This is supposed to be a gormet shop

Every time I try to shop here I leave troubled. Troubled in the fact that they have nothing that is truly gourmet, as in gourmet items.
Lack of cheese, pastas, pates, meats, and much more, lack, lack, lack.
The staff pays no attention at all, and when I ask for something, the answer is plain "We don't carry it.".

I have never been disappointed when shopping at Kelsick. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I love their wild rice and chicken soup.
