My wife and I bought 37 leyland cypress from Kelly’s Nursery in April 2012. The trees were brown and had no branches on the bottom but Kelly McConkey personally reassured us that the branches would regrow after we planted them. I would stay away from this nursery!!! Go to Wentworth’s, Patuxent or some of the other locals.

My personal opinion of Kelly McConkey is not very good when it comes to his business practices. I purchased a tree from his nursery and paid for him to install it. It died within 5-6 months. “No problem I thought,” I will just let him know so he could come out and replace it. I went back...
