fresh and flavorful

This was recommended by a student at Keene State during a visit today. As soon as we walked in, the smell of fresh pesto greeted us, and they had crackers and various sauces set out to sample. I ordered the lobster bisque - $17 but what a treat! Delcious flavor, fresh bread to dip in it, and many large chunks...

Outstanding real seafood chowder (made oldstyle: fresh haddock and Maine shrimp, perfectly seasoned, not thick like gruel), a generous chef's salad, savory bacon-onion dressing, home-baked breads, hot mulled local cider, NH craft beers, outdoor seating on one of the prettiest Main Streets in New England!

Fresh??? Maybe the attitude, but definitely not the food

What was Fresh? The guy at the counter. Did not smile, made very little eye contact, and seemed to have an attitude and air about him. Signs all over the place about different rules. I've never seen anything like that at a restaurant.
What wasn't Fresh? The food. Behind the counter are multiple microwaves and the staff make no attempt...
