Situated in a century-old house midway between downtown Ogunquit and Perkins Cove, Katie's is a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle. Chef Jason Grant changes the eclectic menu every day, adding what is finest and freshest from the local farms...
Katie's is in a converted home with seating in rooms and on the porch. Dishes are imaginative--watermelon and tomato salad, delightful macaroons in a delicious chocolate dipping sauce, lobster ravioli--and attractively prepared. Service I'd generally good but unfortunately varies from excellent to dreadful depending on whether the owner is present.
This restaurant was one of a kind. The lobster flowers were delicious as well as other items on the menu. The waitstaff and bartender were top-notch.
Pleasantly surprised to dine during a quiet week in Ogunquit. We were one of only two couples that evening. Both meals were excellent and as you can imagine we had full attention of the staff. We visited this restaurant after viewing a play at the Ogunquit Playhouse. The meal was superb, the staff outstanding and we will return when we visit the area again. I liked that the restaurant even uses local soap and lotion in the restrooms-Stonewall Kitchen items.
