The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that they only accept cash, no debit/credit cards. The staff is amazing and friendly and the food is yummy. Great prices too.

Best bbq in the world! My family has been going there for 20 years and we always look forward to our trips to town. The staff is also wonderful. I wish they were open on the weekends!

Hopewell restaurants have gone downhill in recent yrs. That includes K&L! The friends of K&L are the only ones that give it high marks & the only rest like it for miles.the BBQ has small hard bits...

After visiting plantations we decided to drive a bit for a bite. Found K and L on yelp and asked at a local gas station who confirmed it was a great place. We arrived about 4pm, not very busy...
