I first started the training in 1989 at Japan House on 14th St w/ (then) Sensei DePasquale when I was 25 - I am now 50 - and though I never got far in my training (my fault) I feel all the more empowered and highly recommend a book recommended on 14th St : Zen and the Martial Arts Zazen Deshimaru ... captures essense....
