Dr. Barrett cared for me during a difficult time, which included personal difficulties as well as my health. He is compassionate and gentle, and an excellent surgeon. Anyone with health concerns would be lucky to have him as a physician.

Came into my ER room, pulled a chair up to my face, and said, "We have to admit you." No reason why, dead pan stare- just a stark sentence. Weirdest thing EVER. I LEFT ER.

Explained my diagnosis clearly to me and answered my questions in an easy to understand manner. Best of all he was very personable along with his thorough knowledge! Definitely a keeper in my specialties list.
