Nice safe restaurant - good seafood, fresh fish

Went to dinner one night for seafood. Have been to John's before when visiting here previously. Fresh perch, and lots of fresh fish. Small underwhelming salad bar, but nice to have fresh salads, as most food in Ahoskie area is fast food restaurants. Murfreesboro has a number of restaurants, which is nice.

We went to John's on Dec 26th. The restaurant was pretty busy, which is a good sign. The menu was fairly expansive also. Lots of choices. The salad bar was not large nor very appealing. Went on a Friday night. There was hardly anyone on the restaurant. Our waitress did not do a very good job keeping our drinks filled. We just ate at John's Seafood last night. The people in there are very friendly and the seafood is very good at reasonable prices. They let you use red cloth napkins, and I like that.
