Two of the highest sand dunes on the East Coast are located here, providing excellent take-off points for hang gliders.

If you can brave the long, hot, sandy hike to the top of the ridge, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the ocean, sound and surrounding towns.

This beautiful 400 acre park encompasses the highest living sand dune on the East Coast and has numerous features including a self guided trail called "Tracks in the Sand", a picnic area, and a visitor center. Scheduled nature programs are available and visitors can enjoy activities such as climbing the dunes, hang gliding, and kite flying while at this park.
