Growing up in this apartment complex was what shaped me as a human being. This complex is a fantastic location, walking distance to Barracks Road Shopping Center and the Uva grounds. The management in this building is very professional, and they are people that you want to become friends with. Everyone that lives here contributes to the postive community feel that the Jeffersonian Apartments...

The first three reviews on this site are all written by the same person--a disgruntled former tenant who was evicted from the complex. Ignore them. I stayed in the Jeffersonian Apartments for three years and found it to be an exceptional place to live. The landlord is attentive, efficient, professional, and very friendly, and you couldn't find a better location if you're attending the law...

I'm very curious about the string of 10 5.0 ratings down below... I've never seen positive reviews like that on any apartment complex, and I know this one doesn't deserve them.

I've lived in several apartments in Charlottesville and The Jeffersonian by far is the best! Kathy runs a tight ship and Johnny is the best maintenance man in the country ! done right, on time, both go above and beyond to make sure everything is the way is should be !

I have lived here for 10 years; John and Kathy Hughes are the best people to rent under that I have ever encountered. For this area, their prices are fair; especially considering the excellent care they take in making sure Jeffersonian is a safe, clean, fun & secure place to live!
