After a long morning touring the settlement and museum we wanted to get a bite to eat before moving on. We took a chance at the cafe and were pleased. Decent meal and a variety of choices.
Located inside the Jamestown Living History Museum in Jamestown, the Cafe is convenient while visiting the museum and is not just the typical museum restaurant. They offer a nice variety of items. Small and a bit out of the way but delish! Gourment sandwich offerings were unique. Husband and I split a sandwich and had plenty but it was so good I wished I'd order my own.
Nice selection of dishes that will keep both kids and adults happy. Such items as quiche are unusual and well made. A better option than the numerous pancake houses and fast food joints. We were pleasantly surprised, I was amazed to see the Montgomery Ward microwave to heat up food.. How long has that been there? I think Wards went...
The café food at the Jamestown Settlement was so good. It was home cooked and not very expensive. It was nice to sit down to a good lunch after a long day of touring the local sites.
