Help us make it rightWe create some of the most delicious craft beer in Richmond, VA by utilizing our imaginations and experimenting with new flavors and aromas.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy, including family events like face painting and cartoon portraitists (don't know if this is a common occurrence or if I showed up on a special event). Still found a seat at the bar and watched a baseball game so felt like being at a sports bar. Service was quick if not talkative (didn't try my hardest to talk beer, mind you) and there are a...
V: Isley has a much smaller space than expected, but generally well laid out. There's a small bar area, as well as a few seats and tables in the middle of the space. Stripped down ambiance in an old warehouse district that's revitalizing. Quality of the beers is moderate with a few standouts (though the highly rated peanut butter beer tasted chemical and thin to me). Service was friendly and selection broad enough with 8 - 10 taps. Caters more to locals looking for a watering hole than the true beer geek.
