I've been here a couple times. My experience wasn't bad, but when I walk into a smoke shop, I don't want to be observed like a tiny little asian woman is going to chop everyone in the...

Art Gallery Well Worth The Stop

Average Rating
100

The Island Art Gallery is a Co-Operative venture of approximately 200 artist and patrons. There are about 50 displaying artist all from the immediate vicinity. The artists are initially juried in from a waiting list adding to the quality of the work. An ecletic mix of water colors, oils and acrylics mix well with the 3-D pieces of pottery, glass and fiber. My favorites were the beautiful fish hand made pottery platters in brilliant blues accented with royal purples. Very nice.

Pros

+ good parking, other galleries nearb, good food nearby

Cons

- hard to find
