This place is great. I actually travel from a few towns over passing a couple "big box" stores on the way. The are one of the only true home centers/hardware stores around and the best is they have people who actually know what they are talking about and care.
You would be surprised by the things they carry, from flooring & cabinets to paint & plumbing.

A few years ago we put an addition on our home and went to Irving's for our supplies. We purchased vinyl replacement windows, carpeting, vinyl flooring, and paint from them. From the time we walked in until the project was completed we got great service, great product selections, and competitive prices. As a woman who knows very little about the ins and outs of home improvement, I have always felt very uncomfortable in any hardware store, large or small. I have made many purchases at Irvings over the years, including paint, shades and custom ordered faucets, and have found their prices to be competitive and their staff to be helpful and friendly.
