Nice inn, location and inkeeper - very uncomfortable bed

The inn was cozy and historic. The inkeeper was nice and breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, perhaps the main thing I will remember is how uncomfortable the mattress was. Not sure if all the rooms have the same mattresses, but the one we had was probably the worst I can recall.

I have to say it was better than staying at a local hotel, but pricey for what we received. The major issue was the bed was like sleeping on a board. My husband and I stayed at the inn for 3 nights while visiting the area. The room was very nice and clean. Wifi was good. Ed is a very welcoming and friendly.
