The Hyatt House Richmond West is a great hotel for business or leisure stay. Adjacent to an outdoor mall with great dining venues close by. Great rooms, very friendly staff, great service. Rooms are spacious and modern. It feels like being at home rather than a hotel.
Made reservation for an early check in due to a family wedding, room was not ready due to staff shortage which made me late-almost missed the shuttle to the wedding due to this. The hotel did offer late check-out which was nice.
Clean room, allowed us to have early check in and late check out, treated us to a dessert tray in our room as we were celebrating a special occasion, within walking distance to our favorite shops, food, movie theatre etc.. And breakfast was included. We are looking forward to our next stay at this hotel in the future!
Nice suite which obviously resulted from comp upgrade. Location adjoining Short Pump Town Center with plenty of restuarants within 100 yards and shop til you drop retail stores make this location very desirable. Breakfast was a plus with nice selection.
I highly recommend staying in this hotel if you're visiting Richmond. Great shopping venues, restaurants, and entertainment are within walking distance. The area is clean, peaceful, and very secure. Hotel occupants were courteous and polite. This is where you take your family for quality memories.
