Friendly staff, a clean dining room, and a menu that has a surprisingly good number of selections for all tastes. Will go back whenever we travel up and down I-91 in Vermont. My wife enjoyed the black bean burger, 'cause she's a vegan, and I enjoyed the curried chicken salad wrap. Good food, and reasonably priced. Nice spot.
Stopped here for dinner while passing through Vermont. I was a little skeptical when I walked in but the reviews were great. I had the cheese sticks, Smokey Burger and cheesecake with strawberries. The burger was very good and cooked perfectly. The service was very good. I would eat here again.
The point of the Hungry Bear is to serve large portions and lots of beer, with an emphasis on basic American pub fare: burgers, fries, nachos, and so forth. They have tables, high-tops, and a big bar. One very nice thing is that the tables aren't in the same room as the two or three big TVs, so you don't...
Stop in any day and see what the locals are up to. Here you will find quality food in large portions good at very reasonable prices. Many of the local business owners and employees can be found discussing their day around the bar at Happy Hour. Just do it. You'll be pleased......
