Rode by on Saturday March 5. The Huddle House has packed up and left town. The building is still there, but everything else is gone. RIP Huddle House/Appomattox

Hot coffee, cold orange juice, perfect eggs and grits. Sat at counter--cook was a model of efficiency. Eggs were cooked perfectly, coffee tasted great. hash browns a bit greasy for my taste, but delicious. Service fast and friendly. Cheap, plain food cooked right.

Breakfast all day!! Over easy eggs really were over easy! Hash browns are superb. Biscuit flaky and warm. Made a pot of decaf just for me!!! You gotta try this place.

We've had breakfast and lunch here several times since June 2014. The service is terrible. For example, the last time we ate there the waitress and then the manager charged more than the stated price on the menu. Is this legal? The food itself is not that good. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
