Dramatic dragon pillars welcome you into this bustling place where dim-sum carts circulate daily. If you can't make it for dim sum during lunch hours, you can also order it off...
We went for dinner. It was not memorable. We were thinking Chinese food in China Town has got to be good - right. No. The fried rice had one piece of egg the size of a pea in it. No vegetables no meat. The Chow mein was bland with fatty pieces of chicken in it. The egg flour soupwas not bad. The price was not bad. We won't be back.
Terrible. The food was inedible. We left. This place should be shut down.
House of Louie is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Portland and is based in Chinatown. The dim sum is neither fresh nor good. At all. Please avoid eating at House of Louie and go to 82nd Avenue or Powell instead if you want dim sum, such as Wong's King or Ocean City.
Largw and mostly empty restaurant, inexperienced with drink orders. Awkward and slow service. Really heavy deep fried food that was very unappetizing.ortland is a great restaurant town and this is a bad choice.
Sticky menu, sticky restroom, sticky utensils, bad service, filthy floors, rubbery dim sum. We used to go here years ago. What happened? Where is the owner. They need to start with hot soapy water and a better attitude. Don't say you weren't warned
