I'm sure many would like this main road side cafe and if we'd chosen to sit inside it might have been better. We sat outside because the ambience inside was...non existent. Outside we were serenaded by trucks hurtling by on Rte 17. The table was gritty (not wiped). The beer selection was down home usual and the so called 'baskets'...

Clean, friendly, a down home feel

Having passed the colorful little cafe a hundred times I opted to check it out over lunch time. Seating for roughly 40 guests this cafe has a homey feel great for family and good friends looking to relax. The service was prompt and before I knew it was enjoying a wonderful mushroom & bacon burger on a nice kaiser roll....

Easy to miss ... Hard to forget

It's easy to miss this restaurant as you drive by. But you'll be glad you found it as this is a must stop if you're in the area. During three different visits we had coconut shrimp, fried oysters, fried soft shell crab, and crab cakes. All were excellent. We had sides of butter beans and cold slaw which were tasty...

Stopped on the way to the Bay for a quick, late lunch and had a pretty good meal. Two of us had clam strips with cole slaw and the third had a crab cake sandwich. The service was quick (only one other party there) and our food was hot and good. Typical diner fare. Nothing fancy.

Nice cafe

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and were greeted by very friendly folks when we entered. My girlfriend and I both ordered the soft-shelled crab sandwich, and they were delicious! Each came with one side, and the prices were very reasonable.
