Information about this business (4)

We're all over the place! Hooters of America, LLC is the proud franchisor and operator of more than 420 Hooters restaurants located in 41 states and 26 countries. We're not great with numbers, but even we can see that's awesome. How'd we get here? In 1983, six rowdy businessmen with no restaurant experience--but an appetite for chicken wings--got together to open a place they couldn't get...

Managers Don't Manage - Patrons language is totally inapropriate and unmonitored

Business has definitely dropped off from a couple years ago and for several good reasons. Managers seem indifferent and while it is proclaimed to be a family restaurant, regular patrons adjacent to the bar, just inside the doors are vile in language and actions and are easily within earshot of most guests as well as under 18 yo hosts. Servers routinely engage in unacceptable, unmonitored actions such as cleaning squirt bottle fights (subsequent falls on resultant slippery floors and other horseplay) and discussions with patrons totally unacceptable for many reasons. All of these things have been brought to management's attention with no corrective actions taken to date. I was in the military and manufacturing arenas most of my life, so I am used to the language and behaviors, but this store is not a family restaurant, nor one I have ever seen a shift manager who seems in control or even cognizant of the breadth of the problems here.

Definitely not as good as a couple years ago..The girls are a dream, always nice, flirting, playing up,that part is still great, but the wings have gotten small, very small..all u can eat is good, but it takes 4ever to get full on wings that small...we have started looking for other places..not because of the woman (love the woman) but the quality of the wings

Girls are great, staff is cool, and if you want good food, try the Cobb Salad or Ham Sandwich - they're both great!

Testosterone rules at this casual hot-wing hangout.

In Short
Waitresses in shiny tan nylons and tight, orange, '70s track shorts serve up beer and pub grub at this proudly ""tacky yet unrefined"" sports bar-restaurant. Tables are packed...

We waited 10 minutes before a waitress took our order. 15 minutes later and our wings came out (without the ranch we ordered), our fries and other appetizer NEVER came out. Waitress didn't return...

Worst experience ever! I just moved to this area and I'm a huge fan of Hooters and was super disappointed with everything from the server to the food. I will never return back. Hopefully the one in Hampton is better! Cold food and horrible service. I had to walk to the bar just to get a refill! My server was more worried …

Food has changed. Hot wing sauce doesn't taste like it has butter in it. Some sort of soapy aftertaste. Blew cheese is no longer Marzetti's and is watered down. Not returning.

We went to Hooters Newport News for the first time in 8 months. Ordered Margaritas, wings, salad, & fried pickles. The pickles tasted like fish, the wings were soggy & greasy, the Margaritas didn't have no way near a shot of tequila, & the salad tasted like it had stayed in the bag all day in the sun. The servers were below average in appearance, and all of them had cutoff jeans and shirts that...
