A nice surprise on trip to Oklahoma

My mother and I needed a place to stay on our trip to Oklahoma from San Marcos, TX. I wanted a half way point on Highway 281 and Mineral Wells was exactly half way. I was so surprised to see a Holiday Inn Express thinking we might not have many choices. The room is very spacious and beds extremely comfortable....

The employees are great. They are very friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in you. They offered recommendations on where to eat and provided a full complete service. I will stay there again when I am in the area.

Did not plan to spend the night in Mineral Wells but due to bad weather I stopped in to spend the night. Very clean. Smells fresh when you walk in the door. Great bed with comfortable pillows. Friendly, helpful staff. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Nice night at this Holiday Inn!
