Was in town for three days to attend a wedding. The front desk and wait staff were attentive and friendly when approached. The room was spacious and clean .The breakfast served was not bad at all .The route to friends and family in Duck and north was readily accessible. More like a Holiday Inn than an Express. Very old bordering on shabby. Very loud from above. Staff excellent. Stay somewhere else.

Excellent staff, good, clean hotel, we had to switch room because the a/c was too loud in our initially assigned room. No other issues, easy beach access and great looking pool.

i thought this hotel would be up-to-date, but it was antique, and not in a good way. it looked like it was built in 1936. there was mold around the bathtub (I took showers), the vanity area was so dark that i couldn't put makeup on, sheets appeared to have someone else's hair on them, the couch was stained, the carpet was not clean. the other hotel occupants looked at me like they had never...

Everyone was so nice and helpful. I had lost an earring and after returning home I called. The girl at the desk contacted the cleaning personnel and immediately returned my call. We will never stay anywhere else.
