A small out of the way drive in for locals with excellent food and a very economical price. But, the butterscotch milkshake is my favorite and I try to get one every time I visit the folks up there.

Potatoes baked to perfection. Good burgers and fries. Nice fresh salads. And large scrumptious deserts. Excellent service

Went For Ostrich, Got a Good Burger Instead

My husband and I were passing though Gate City on vacation to Natural Tunnel State Park and decided to stop for lunch at The Hob Knob, as my husband had heard about their ostrich burgers years ago. Unfortunately, they no longer serve ostrich. The burgers we ordered instead were pretty good. Everything else we ordered for lunch was pretty average....

What a great little diner in an out-of-the-way place. Double Cheeseburger was fresh, hot and tasty, crinkle fries were hot and crisp, onion rings were good but the Raspberry Sundae was best ever. And the Cherry milkshake was more like a big dish of ice cream with lots of cherries. This place is well worth the drive from any neighboring...

Good cheeseburger

This place always serves up the best cheeseburger and golden brown fries. Also, they offer a great selection of desserts including strawberry nut sundaes. These are the best! Great food great prices!
