comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast

This was our favorite hotel of three in the immediate area which we have tried in recent months. It's competitively priced, and the low cost of the breakfast (buffet plus cooked-to-order items) was well worth it for the difference in quality. No complaints.

Presently surprised!!!
Employees: Love them! The employees were friendly and personable....They remembered my name and that goes far with me...yet they were professional 24/7.
Room: On the odd number side of the 2nd floor, I had a view of trees, which was great for me. Room was clean and spacious. The comfort of the bed was to die for....loved it....

The Hilton Garden Inn in Newport News is a diamond in the rough. Convenient to everything, not expensive, good valued food, and quiet during the off times. The staff has always been helpful, the morning crew especially so. Check-in and check-out is very easy, like a smaller town well-run motel. This is our go-to place in the area.

The staff was extremely friendly. Answered every question and very helpful in a professional matter. The location of this hotel is excellent. It was close to many food and entertainment establishments. As well as a Farm Fresh grocery store right next door

Solid experience until I went to bed

Everything about the hotel and the amenities was on point until I got ready for bed. The bed was far too soft and had a deep well where I tried to lay. I tried the other bed and it was just as bad. I use a CPAP and have to be on the side with the night stand. I was...
