This is a nice clean spot with good pulled pork. The hush puppies are small but tasty. The sweet tea is authentic southern. I enjoyed my meal. I'll go back.
Stopped by here on way to Richmond airport. Good BBQ but be advised, only pork and chicken are served. The pork platter was delicious and so was the baby back ribs. The meat just fell off the bone. No hot or spicy BBQ sauce, they put a bottle of Texas Pete on the table for heat. Very friendly staff and...
For the price, you get a good amount of food. Cool decor. Seemed like a quiet spot for 6:00 on a Saturday, but no complaints. Service could not have been better - the server/woman behind the counter was possibly the nicest person in Virginia.
Would go back.
Hillbilly Red's has the nicest staff, and the best atmosphere. They make it a point to engage their customers and keep them coming back for more.
Staff/cashier was extremely pleasant but the food was awful. The fries were overcooked and the barbeque was not very pleasing. I wasted 9.00. But the restaurant was a very nicely kept place.
