Dishonest! We rented a car for less than one day and checked-in online. We still had to go through the whole check-in process again at the counter, which defeated the purpose of that. We declined insurance online and never said we wanted it when we re-checked in at the counter. We were never told the total price before getting in the car but weren't concerned since I had checked-in online with the price we were supposed to pay.

When we returned the car, our bill that was supposed to be $15 was $45. We were charged for the insurance even though we had specifically declined it online and...

My mistake but I rented a Car at the Richmond, VA airport from Hertz. I told them I did not want insurance since the company I work for has a contract with Hertz. The agent tried to get me to rent a more expensive vehicle but I didn't want it. I actually wanted a smaller car then I was booked for. Well, I was charged for insurance and I got a compact car for the price of a midsize.
Next time I don't care how many people are in line, I am going to read the contract better. My costly mistake. I have notified my company to change rental agencies and try a more honest company if there...
